Description:
One of the main challenges operating rooms currently face is poor room turnover times. Every minute an OR sits underutilized creates patient care delays and causes both financial and operational strains on the entire surgical department – from admission and registration, through pre-op, surgery and the PACU. Learn how TAGNOS solutions leverage a combination of real-time technologies, AI-machine learning and mobile communication to reduce its overall room turnover times.
Utilizing real-time data from automated alerts triggered by patients' RFID wristbands, patient flow and room turnover insights are delivered to clinical care and logistics support teams to coordinate more effectively for optimized scheduled surgery times, collaborative workflows and faster care delivery.
In addition to industry specific conference sessions and workshops that give a more in-depth look into how RFID tracking is being deployed in key industries, the RFID Journal Awards were created to highlight companies that have distinguished themselves by their successful use of radio frequency identification (RFID).
Awards will be given out in eight categories and Adventist Health White Memorial has been nominated for the Best Health-Care RFID Implementation in conjunction with the OR room turnover work spearheaded by Randy Saad. Award winners will be announced on April 4th at 1:00 p.m. in the exhibit hall.
